The vocal group Perpetuum Jazzile is the largest Slovene pop and jazz choir. Its repertoire is extremely varied and includes everything from bossa nova, swing, close harmony, funk and gospel to pop and jazz. The sound is defined by catchy vocal harmonies, outstanding rhythms and solos as well as a youthful charm. Although they have been active for over 27 years, the choir had its major breakthrough only last year, when they released an “a capella” cover of the hit “Africa” by Toto. The song became an instant success and turned into a proper sensation on YouTube, exceeding 11.1 million views in the first eight months after being uploaded. In 2010, the choir released the album “Africa”, which has been very well-received by the public and critics alike.
