Most bands start small and expand their fan base gradually, album by album. Only very few groups manage to crash onto the scene with a breathtaking debut and take the audience by storm. One such band is Tabu: their self-titled first album was a collection of instant hits, including “Dobra Vila”, “Tabu” and “Lahko sem srce”. Their much anticipated second release “Male nore ideje” set the bar even higher and included classics like “Angel”, “Divje” and “Ocean”. The band kept riding this wave of success with their third album. However, soon after its release, front-woman Nina experienced serious issues with her vocal chords and had to give up her singing career. The future of the band seemed uncertain, yet the remaining members decided to push on. After intense castings, the band settled on a replacement: the outstanding vocalist and performer Tina joined the ranks of Tabu and a new album, “42”, was recorded, which the band will also be presenting at Festival Lent.

Negative Two is the band Slovenia has been waiting for: after a handful of unsuccessful attempts, we finally have a proper girl pop-rock band reminiscent of The Bangels, with excellent original music. Negative Two are young girls united by their love of rock’n’roll and the wish to create good music. They are influenced by a variety of genres and bands.
During their short existence, the band they played numerous gigs – the biggest of which was at Rock Olimpijada in Croatia (2008) – and won several Slovenian music competitions, including Najstfest in Maribor.
In 2010, they intend to record their first EP and play as many concerts as possible, since their home is the stage, where they always get a positive response from the crowd.
