A master of the tenor saxophone, Yuri Honing has worked with some of jazz’s greatest, including Pat Meheny, Charlie Haden and Scott Coley. Since 2006 Honing and his electric band Wired Paradise are conquering the world with electronics, rock and jazz in a spectacular mix where Honing’s saxophone takes over the vocal parts in many songs. The band’s sound is defined by Honing’s love for cinema, with themes from L.A. Confidential, Kill Bill and The Usual Suspects surfacing every now and then.
